Terms of use

MerchForge is offered free of charge, with no warranties. We work hard to keep it useful and reliable, but we can't promise it will always be available, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose. Always check your exported files before uploading or printing them.

You keep all rights to the designs you process. The image editing runs in your own browser, so your artwork isn't uploaded to us (the one exception is the optional AI filename feature — see the Privacy notice). You are responsible for making sure you have the right to use, edit and sell each design — including that it doesn't infringe anyone's trademark or copyright. MerchForge is a tool; it doesn't check or clear rights for you.

Please don't use MerchForge to process unlawful content, to break any platform's rules, or to abuse the service (for example automated flooding, or trying to get around its limits or security). We may block access that harms the tool or other users.

The optional AI (SEO) filename feature suggests a keyword filename. Suggestions are automated and may be imperfect — you're responsible for the final filenames and listings you use, including avoiding trademarked terms.

To the fullest extent the law allows, MerchForge and Philip Anders won't be liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the tool or your exported files — for instance lost sales, rejected uploads, or issues with a print. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

We may update these terms as the tool changes; the date at the top shows the latest version. Continued use means you accept the current terms.
