Free · no watermark · your designs stay on your device
Amazon Merch on Demand asks for a very specific file: a 4500×5400 pixel PNG at 300 DPI, under 25MB. Most AI-generated art and downloaded graphics come out nowhere near that — usually 1024 or 2048 pixels — and stretching them up in a normal editor leaves them soft and blurry.
MerchForge does the whole job in one click: it upscales your artwork with a free AI upscaler (up to 4×), places it on the exact 4500×5400 canvas, keeps the transparency, stamps 300 DPI into the file, and compresses the PNG so it sails under Amazon's 25MB limit.
Everything runs in your browser — your designs are edited on your device, not uploaded to a server. No account, no watermark, no install.
How it works
- Step 1Drop your designs
Drag in one PNG, JPG or WebP — or a whole batch. Oversized files are auto-resized to a safe working size.
- Step 2Tick “Amazon Merch size”
Optionally add background removal or halftone in the same pass. Upscale is applied automatically so the art fills the canvas sharply.
- Step 3Download print-ready PNGs
Exact 4500×5400, 300 DPI metadata, transparent background kept, compressed for upload.
What you get
- Exact 4500×5400 px export — Amazon Merch's required size
- Free AI upscaling up to 4× so small art stays sharp
- 300 DPI written into the file
- PNG compression that keeps files under the 25MB limit
- Batch as many designs as you like
- Runs on your device — designs are never uploaded
Common questions
What size does Amazon Merch need?
T-shirt artwork must be a 4500×5400 pixel PNG (15×18 inches at 300 DPI) under 25MB. MerchForge exports exactly that, with the DPI metadata set and the file compressed to fit.
Will my small image lose quality when it's enlarged?
MerchForge uses an AI upscaler (up to 4×) rather than plain stretching, so a 1024px or 2048px AI design comes out sharp at print size instead of blurry.
Does it keep my transparent background?
Yes. If your design already has a transparent background it stays transparent, and you can also remove a solid background in the same pass.
Is it really free?
Yes — resizing, upscaling, background removal and halftone all run free in your browser with no watermarks. You only enter your email once, when you download.
